Ram Kumar

 Ram
Kumar is the director of Sakthisoft Pty Ltd, a company
that provides strategic consulting services to organisations
in the areas of information architectures, information
integration and interoperability, XML and B2B/Web Services
strategies, information/data quality, web services
and information asset governance. Previously, Ram was
the General Manager of software research and development
and architecture at Mastersoft, a data quality solutions
company for over 7 years.
Since 1999, Ram has been
actively involved with OASIS. He founded and chairs
the customer/party information management technical
committee, the fourth committee set up by OASIS in
2000 and also contributes to UBL, ebXML, TaxML, eGovernment
and other OASIS technical committees. Ram currently
serves as the manager of Technical Committee Development
of OASIS. In this role, Ram provides direct support
to OASIS technical committees, helping members resolve
issues on rules and operations and promoting continued
activity and successful completion of TC goals.
Ram
has published over 85 articles in international
journals and IT conferences.
Nick Carr
Allette Systems
 Nick
Carr is the founder and general manager of Allette Systems,
a 17 year old systems integrator specialising in XML
design, training and implementations. Allette Systems
has a long history of implementations using standards-oriented
markup languages for such organisations as the Australian
Stock Exchange, Sun Microsystems and the Singapore Attorney
General’s Chambers.
